Thats great Leesa.   I grew up in a town recognized for being Tree city (Ann Arbor, MI)  which was named after Ann.  Ann's Arbor.  It is a good thing to have an enviormentally sound community.  I was State CRS President 2007 and 2008. (Tennessee)  We had a state wide "Earth Day" celebration/awarness event go on the week of Earth day. I'm all for the enviorment.  Go Green!

Leesa, I live in a Tree City too.  It's a great testament to the dedication of the community and its elected officials.  I'm going to stay tuned for the Free Trees...and perhaps make some suggestions to our local leaders!

We have so many trees in Michigan I think we sometimes take them for granted. What a good way to appreciate them.

Leesa~ I love cities that still have trees! When developers tear everything out, it's just not appealing to me! Congrats on the Award!!

lashawn - VERY particular here about what trees are protected!  it is beautiful here in when the leaves are on the trees whether they are the new leaves of spring, the lush greens of summer or the vibrant hues in autumn.
