The Cotton Company in Historic Downtown Wake Forest features an artist each month.  This month's artist is:

Ginger Meek Allen

Ginger's work on the canvas is remarkable and is done in both Oil and Watercolor. 

Ginger is also very well known in the area for her Metalwork.  From sculptures to jewelry Ginger's pieces are truly one-of-a-kind and masterfully crafted. 

In Ginger's OWN words:

There is a place where art meets science,
form meets function, and
human experience meets spiritual truth.
My work often takes me there.

There I learned that it is indeed appropriate
to deliberately incorporate
light and movement and scale
into the functions of daily life --
be it adornment or breakfast.

I create utensils, vessels and  jewelry
using a mix of standard jeweler's techniques
and traditional smithing.
My work is both contemporary and organic;
polished, but still distinctly handmade.
