Safari on the Golf Course
Saturday, May 3
Lochmere Golf Club, Cary, NC
Two special guests will appear at the Knights of Columbus Council 6650 Learning Disabilities Charity Classic Golf Tournament being held at Lochmere Golf Club in Cary on May 3. Local authors Kim and Peter D'Arruda will be selling and signing books with all profits from sales going to the Knights supported Lamb Foundation of North Carolina Charity. The mission of the Lamb Foundation is to support a range of creative programs to help improve the quality of the human experience, especially for those suffering from Autism, Downs Syndrome, and Mental Retardation. Kim and Peter D'Arruda try to help improve the human experience as well, through helping better educate people on the subjects of budget, money, and finance. The two have combined to author three books. A Day To Play is a children's book, which helps to teach the beginning principles of how to set a budget and be frugal with money. The D'Arrudas feel this is an important lesson to teach our children starting at a very early age. Financial Safari: Be Prepared, Not Surprised and Fine Print Fiasco take a more mature look at money and finance, detailing subjects such as fraud, identity theft, credit and "everything they don't want you to know when you buy, borrow, and invest." Come out and enjoy a great day of golf for a worthy cause and join Peter and Kim in supporting the Lamb Foundation. Sign up today to play by calling George Mills at (919) 854 2891.
