Meet In The Street! May 3rd, 2008 - Wake Forest!

WOO-HOO!  It's back!  The annual "Meet In The Street" comes to downtown Wake Forest on May 3rd!!!!!  Event time is 10am - 4pm.  So, what is THIS all about?  Let me just tell you.....

This is one of the most anticipated events (along with the HerbFest) every year in Wake Forest.  For over 27 years the Wake Forest community has come together to enjoy this HUGE family-friendly festival.  There is so much to do!  There are homemade Arts and Crafts that include original paintings, handmade jewelry and handmade home decor just to name a few.

The Food Village is brimming with the really yummy festival food like funnel cakes, hot dogs, home fries and even a little Greek flair with gyros and pita sandwiches!

Local dancers, singers and musicians will be on two different stages offering a wide variety for entertainment choices.

This festival would NOT be complete without the inclusion of the areas most favorite mascots - Wool E. Bull from the Durham Bulls and Stormy from the Carolina Hurricanes

You have just GOT to come out for this even on May 3rd - I promise that if you are even thinking of moving to Wake Forest this will hook you for life!

Never been more excited to share what goes on in My Back Yard....
