Wake Forest Singers' rehearsal begins
Thursday, January 31; 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
St. John's Episcopal Church
For 16 years, The Wake Forest Singers have been putting on free performances for the betterment of the cultural arts in town. This year will be no exception as the singers gear up to start rehearsals in January for this year's Dreams-themed show. Rehearsals begin January 31. They are an hour and a half long from 7:00-8:30 p.m. every Thursday until the program in April. Practices are at St. John's Episcopal Church in the church sanctuary. If you want to be a part of this Wake Forest tradition, all you need to do is show up - there are no tryouts. Dance Baby Dance
Saturday, February 2; 2:00 p.m.
The Mill Room at The Factory
Dance Baby Dance is an event for families with kids from 0-8. The Mill Room at The Factory will be transformed into a disco atmosphere with music, lights, healthy finger foods, juice boxes, soda, changing stations and plenty of activities for parents and kids. The date is February 2 with a 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. jam and a 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. jam. Admission is $10/person (non-walkers get in free) and tickets can be purchased in advance at http://www.dancebabydancenc.com/.
