Wake forest looks like a great place to be. Thanks for the post I really enjoy following all these communities. Makes me want to clone myself and live in them all
I'm with you, Charlie! I see all the gorgeous places and all I can think is ROAD TRIP!!!
Through your eyes and blogs Leesa, Wake Forest seems like a GREAT town! I like your idea...ROAD TRIP!!! lol
Cheron
Thanks, Cheron - I just absolutely love it here and I really hope that comes through in the posts! We should take a ROAD TRIP one day ONLY using the posts by members - how cool would that be?
Leesa - Kiwanis Park in Wake Forest sounds like it has something for everyone.
Dude...that is one awesome slide! Love the library / park combo!
It is just a really cute little park, Michelle - perfect for an afternoon stop off!
HA! That was Liam's favorite slide for a LONG time Heather. Now he's just too cool for playgrounds. ;)
Hey Leesa great description of your local park, you make it sound so inviting and I have to say the name intrigues me too. I looked up the work Kiwanis and found it is a native American word that can be translated into a couple of different meanings. One of them is for meeting others at a given location...how perfect :) Have a great day!
Oh, it is definitely a meeting place, laura! The place is packed on weekday afternoons with the moms and their kids having a blast!
Leesa.....Your description really brings out how Wake Forest is a very people and pet friendly community. Great place to spend time with the kids, the pets and some friends!
Thanks, Carra - WAIT until you see the park for the dogs! They have it made!
Leesa, that is a woodsy setting. Your dscriptions of your town make me want to stop in. Road trip is right, and when we get colder, your area woill be just right!
Thanks, Steve - i have had out of town buyers visit that say they feel like they are in a "green tunnel" because we have so many trees! Gotta admit - the trees provide a great place to plop down and read a book or shade the walking trails.
