1st Annual Womanless Beauty Pageant
Friday, July 30; 6 pm
Crossroads Entertainment, 413 S. Brooks St.
The firemen of Wake Forest and Youngsville have gallantly agreed to wear full-length gowns in a fundraising beauty pageant for local teachers. All proceeds will go to “The Teacher Supply Closet,” a project sponsored by the civic clubs of Wake Forest. Come join the fun—raffle drawngs, silent auction, food and lots of surprises! Wake Forest Farmers Market: Meet Your Farmer Day
Saturday, July 31; 8 am - noon
Downtown Parking Lot, 110 S. White St.
Come meet and talk with your farmers, find out how and where your food is grown. The market offers fresh produce, pasture raised meats, free range eggs, fresh and dried herbs, goat cheese, honey, jams and preserves. Blueberries, blackberries, blackberry plants and peaches. Concert in the Park
