Featured Artist Ginger Meek Allen at The Cotton Company
April 5 - May 7: Exhibit
Friday, April 9; 6 pm - 9 pm: Wine Tasting and Reception
The Cotton Company; 306 S. White St.
The Cotton Company in Historic Downtown Wake Forest is delighted to announce we will be featuring the work of Ginger Meek Allen, a talented metalsmith, sculpture and painter, throughout the month of April. A wine tasting and reception will be held on Friday, April 9th, from 6-9 pm in conjunction with Art After Hours. A resident artist at The Cotton Company for five years, Ginger has produced much unforgettable work. During the month of April, Ginger will exhibit “Manifestations in Retrospect”, which will portray her work from the past five years. Her work, in all forms, depicts her life’s journey. Ginger believes there is a place where art meets science, form meets function, and human experience meets spiritual truth. Through her work, she is often taken to this place and always appreciates every moment of it. Her pieces are created to express and reflect her client’s personalities, as jewelry is art you wear and all art is about personal and spiritual expression. Her first passion in life was the written word; therefore, Ginger incorporates text into all her works allowing each piece to possess its own unique story. The Cotton Company is a restored cotton warehouse located in Historic Downtown Wake Forest housing a unique marketplace of home furnishings, accessories, fine arts, jewelry, women's fashions, children's toys, collectibles... unique gifts for anyone! Enjoy shopping again! For more information check us out on the web at www.thecottoncompany.net, or call (919) 570-0087
