I like the reform you're reporting about, but this administration is adding thousands of new agents to the IRS payrolls.

I'm with Jon Nevin.

Jon and Bob,  I know that the current administration is doing what they have always done.

However with enough people things can and will change.  This was proposed years ago and it slowly grew into a much larger movement.  At some point one has to ask...keep it going as is or try to make a change?

I opt to make a change and spread the word.  Millions of Americans have never heard of the Fair Tax.  Many join when they understand it.  I would love to see enough people push their legislators to pass this tax reform so we can all have more control over our lifestyle and country.

I choose to do something about it and hopefully someone reading this will too.  Thanks for stopping by!

Nevin...I wish that's the way it was. Have a great day!

Rob - If people get involved in the Fair Tax Plan it will become a reality.  We need people who agree with this to join...one person at a time.

I probably am not up enough on the fair tax as of yet, but it is a sure thing that we cannot continue down this path much longer.

I suggest those reading this blog figure out how much they paid in federal income taxes in 2009.  Now imagine your quality of life if you could keep all of it and only pay taxes when YOU decide to buy something.

I think we will see this type of major tax reform someday...it is just a matter of time. I think it will be good, fairer and better. But it will not necessarily put more money in your pocket because it will cost more to live.

Posted by Brian Kelly (Keller Williams Keystone Realty) about 2 years ago

Brian - I agree that it may not improve my standard of living necessarily.  However I can live on a dime!

What it would do:  Reduce power of the federal government,  Save American taxpayers millions of dollars used to run the IRS, simplify taxes, save families the cost of tax preparer fees, tax illegal activity which should bring in more money to pay for infastructure.
