Wake Forest NC - Calendar of Events December 7 - 13, 2009

Wake Forest NC Calendar of EventsDo you see it?  So you smell it?  Can you feel it?  Christmas is right around the corner and I have been witness to some of the most amazing display of lights in the area - they just leave you breathless!  And the smells?  Oh my, the smell of fresh pine trees and cookies baking permeate the air everywhere I go in Wake Forest NC!

This past week was quite busy with great opportunities to get some shopping done, meet up with Santa for pictures (and we ALL know how busy HIS schedule is this time of year!) and take in the local Rolesville Parade.  This week?  Keep that pencil handy as you'll want to definitely pencil in some of the upcoming activities.....

Leesa,

I love this time of year; Lars and I get lots of cookies from our clients. We are in constant "chew" mode for a month. You know, if we could we would be hanging around by those pancakes and sausages at the Legion. Heck, Lars would steer us right into the parking lot.

Leesa - I think this is a great place to live during Christmas time.  You can smell the pine trees and if we're lucky we might get snow flurries!  Homes here in NC are beautiful and are what you would see on a postcard.  Guess you can say it is "Christmasie" out here!  Pancakes are my weakness....By the way, how does Santa keep the maple syrup out of his beard?

Leesa, great calendar of events for your readers. Sounds like there is a lot on your local calendar. It's amazing how much "stuff" goes on this time of year with the holiday lights, parades, etc. ;-)

Tom - I am the same here - December is an "EatFest"!  I have no doubts that Lars would lead the way - he is a FOOD HOUND!
