Great picture! I remember when I played on a Little League baseball team and went a couple of years with no wins...finally!
Losing teaches us that it so much better to win and the longer we must wait the sweeter the win
I remember those days... softball for me. And the glory of one in the W column.
Gary - it felt unreal didn't it?
Bill - We asked him that night after the game of ALL of his wins in soccer, football and baseball which he was most proud of - it was most definitely this win. He said, "We worked hard for it!" ALL the boys were (and still are) over the moon.
Tammy - Glory certainly is the perfect word - it's days later and they are all still celebrating!
There's nothing more contagious than the happiness on those faces. Thanks for sharing!
Verlyn
Way to go, guys! Congratulations!
Leesa - Now how cool is that?! Look at those smiles! Woo hoo!
Although I haven't quite figured out why men play at war, while chasing and carrying an oval pig skinned object they can't eat, I still appreciate the zeal and the enthusiasm in which they do so:-)
Hi Leesa ~ And what a great shot of the happy event - love it!! Way to go team!!
Liz
I hope their team name is not the "Lions" We have had such a losing record in Michigan it can become excepted. I hope they have many more wins.
Congratulations . Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture.Good luck.
Totally Awesome! I know you are so proud of him! You have been a very dedicated cheerleader:)
Leesa, Those smiles are contagious...I now have one myself :)
Leesa,
Any win is a good one - and after three years, no wonder they look so exuberant and happy. :)
Steve
Verlyn - aren't they AMAZING smiles?????
Heather - HEY - you're blowing a kiss at me in your pic - TOO CUTE!
Nevin - it was most definitely a HIGH!
Myrl - YES, it can be a very roudh sport! I think an ambulance was called this season at EVERY game!
Liz - These boys are still riding that win!
Terry - I hate to say it but it became expected here as well. In the 3rd Qtr of this game when it really looked like they might win I STARTED CRYING!
Gita - How could i NOT share this one?
Sheri - I know that you HEARD MY VOICE days after games - I was cheering my heart out at those games!
Carole - The pic makes me smile EVERYTIME i look at it!
Steve - it was a LONG time coming.....
Leesa, these kids do indeed look happy! Congratulations to the winning team.
That's quite a drought to go through between wins!
But the smiles on their faces are worth the wait.
I'd hate to see the looks on the faces of the team who lost!
Pat - Thanks - they are STILL riding the high!
Craig - VERY long drought indeed - they were way over due!
Leesa
I have got to think this was monumental to those little guys. You have to lose a couple of them to really savor the victory.
Tom - Savour it they did! 2 weeks later and they are still riding the high!
Hi Leesa. Smiles plus great looking uniforms too. Aloha & best wishes.
Richard - Thanks - the happiness just oozes from their smiles, doesn't it?
