It has been an extremely exciting week in Wake Forest NC with the Wake Forest Christmas Parade AND the Wake Forest Rolesville High School playing in the State Championships! Whew! This town has been buzzing with both Holiday Spirit and School spirit and pride! The upcoming week in Wake Forest is full of Holiday events such as Breakfast with Santa, Holiday performances, a crafter's market and if you haven't been to historic downtown Wake Forest you simply MUST go! The decorations are magical and the local businesses are in quite the Holiday mode! What a wonderful time to visit historic downtown Wake Forest and explore all that is offered!
Wake Forest Garden Club Meeting

The meeting will begin with social time and refreshments, followed at 10 am by a gardening program. The December program, entitled "Poinsettias, Holiday Flowers and Decorations," will be presented by Bob Serrone, Retail Greenhouse Manager at Homewood Nursery and Garden Center. The morning will conclude with a garden club business meeting. The Wake Forest Garden Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May, at the Wake Forest Community House. Anyone with an interest in gardening or who just wants to get involved in making Wake Forest a more beautiful place is welcome to attend a meeting to learn more about the club. Garden club members and guests are encouraged to bring canned or boxed food items to the meeting for donation to the Tri-Area Ministries food pantry.
